Kinesthetic Geometry

The body as geometric instrument. Barbell work builds mass and tension; kinesthetic geometry builds the spatial intelligence to deploy it.

This domain covers all disciplines where bodyweight is the primary instrument and spatial orientation — not mechanical load — is the operative variable. Handstands, back bridges, fascial yoga, and the isometric statics that underpin both calisthenics and martial arts.

The distinction from Physical Culture:

  • Physical Culture → iron, gravity, hypertrophy, absolute force production
  • Kinesthetic Geometry → the body in space, proprioception, fascial remodeling, neurological balance

Tetractys Placement Map

DaySessionKinesthetic Protocol
Day 2 PMCore Armor (Hypertrophy block)Deep mobility — adductor stretches, hip flexor holds
Day 5 AM (Synthesis)PrimaryYoga / Primal Flow — Fascial Yoga or Ashtanga sequence
Day 5 PM (Synthesis)SkillHandstand balance work — freestanding practice
Day 6 PMNeurological BalanceHandstand · frog stands · elbow levers — CNS counter to heavy squats/deadlifts
Day 10 (Void)PassiveYin-mode holds only — no muscular exertion, fascial release

  • Bojutsu — proprioceptive control transfers directly to jō footwork
  • Bataireacht — lateral hip stability (Cossack squats, Lizard) is kinesthetic geometry work
  • Calisthenics Database — statics (levers, planche) live there; dynamic flow and yoga live here
  • Tetractys Cycle — Day 5 and Day 6 PM are this domain’s primary windows
